Setting up an OK move up when they take down TT in two weeks.
Alabama still has to play a tough Rivalry game against Auburn.
BCS can still take Oklahoma again even if they aren't the South champs and Mizzou knocks off UT in Championship game.
BCS gets OK-Florida and everyone else gets
Playoff anyone?

4. Notre Dame will have an automatic berth if it is in the top eight of the final BCS Standings.

Texas has one loss against No. 2 in the last second on the Road and victories over 3 of Top 13-OU, Missouri and Oklahoma St most of which have only lost to Top 5 teams. Next closest victory was by 24 points. Florida lost to Mississippi at home. Looks like this thing is a Beauty Pageant rather than pollsters rationally weighing the relative performances of the teams.
Top Ranked Big East Teams Pitt at 21 and Cincy at 22. Top Ranked ACC Team North Carolina at 17. Yet MWC has 3 teams in top 18.

And explain why BYU, slaughtered by TCU, is ranked four slots AHEAD of the Frogs. Just goes to show the BCS silliness.
