What's the story on the very conservatively dressed guy who got kicked out late in the third quarter? I want to say section 106. Anybody catch that? Several of UP's finest were joined by the usual yellow shirts to escort him out. He looked suprised but didn't put up a fight.

I was going to give you a grade for that comment, but it is probably true. He also might have used words that are inappropriate for little johnny to hear..... unless he is in school or watching TV.

I think he snuck in and did not have a ticket so the people who's seats he was in had him kicked out

now we are kicking out fans? Just great. I never thought I would hear about people "sneaking in" to a SMU football game.

Could be. Was he wearing a pink polo and searsucker shorts?

I want to say he was a dark haired fella about, oh, mid 40's maybe. I think he was wearing a burgundy colored polo. I may be slightly off, but that's pretty close I think.

I sit around that section and if it's the same guy, he was kicked out for heckling (in a boulevard drunken state of course) our own players.
He's been kicked out before for doing the same thing. It's quite entertaining, especially watching him keep his balance.

haha.....
I believe he might have been the original Rich Alum from back in the old Mustang Maniac days. Gave good reviews of the pig run.
He was in my fraternity, along with other famous phi's such as The Great Doak Walker and the great Stallion. I'm gonna take a shot in the dark and say he was over served before kickoff...not that there is anything wrong with that. He sat down next to us at the start of the third but saw a friend down on the sideline, went down to the wall to talk to him and I am guessing he got into it with a yellow jacket. He came and sat down next to us and then said "Well sh*t, that dude is still looking at me!" - threw up a what the hell are you looking at gesture and then said "Yeah, I better get going now...he's on his walkie talkie." Didn't know he got kicked out....but we do sit in 106 and it was the 3rd qtr. For the record he probably should have been kicked out in the second qtr when he was telling us about his trip to vegas last weekend even though young children and old blue hairs were sitting so close by.

He went peacefully. I thought I saw him yell at the cheerleaders/dance team as they were walking by during their transition time.
Speaking of police and yellow shirts, my friends who had never been to an SMU game (well, not this century) were shocked at the large number of uniformed officers on the field at game's end.

Yes our goalposts have been safe for almost 2 years now. But CUSA can fine you if you don't have personnel in place to control the crowd so that's why they are there.
