Anybody notice that Washington State has lost games by the following margins:

69
63
58
56
53
49 points

that's got to be a record. That's bad enough but the clincher is that the CLOSEST LOSS to a Division 1A team is 25 points. WOW!

Before we get too critical just remember that Washington State's record is no worse than SMU's.

And they have a tenuous link to SMU as well being that their single victory was over Portland State...

And Portland State is coached by none other than Jerry Glanville...

"Glanville was influenced to look into the Portland State head coaching position by Jones and former Portland State Head Coach Mouse Davis. “If this job was anywhere else, you probably wouldn’t have heard from me. It was because of two people that have a past history - and their plaques hang on the wall in the Athletic Hall of Fame here - in June Jones and Mouse Davis. June said that ‘you and that school would be tremendous.’ And when Teri (Mariani) called me, the interest grew."

So laugh lightly!

I don't count D1AA victories over teams that give out 60 scholarships-never have never will.

Looks like Glanville is set to become our new defensive coordinator.

Saw Glanville qualify for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck series out at TMS
in 98. I read that he left tickets for Elvis at his races too.

add another 31 point loss in a gallant effort by Washington St. against Arizona St. Nobody has ever lost all their games to Division 1A teams by at least 25 points have they? AVERAGE LOSS is 43.3 points per game. That's more points than SMU's Opponents have averaged over the last 2 years of ineptitude.
