As a lifetime 49er fan (and I'm only 21, so not that long) I was pretty pissed. I like the direction that Singletary is going with the team and think he will turn them around eventually, but that was awful. A play action or even a running play to Frank Gore would have been better since he is our best player. Makes sense right? I guess we'll get em next time

Wanting to be tough and physical is one thing, but stupid play calling is another. You have 20 seconds and 3 plays. Run passes the first 2 plays and then if you are hell bent on sneaking a run in, do that on 4th down, when its your last shot anyway.

By running the first play and then spiking the ball on 3rd down, they took one more chance away to score.

Singletary needs to stay outta the offensive side of the ball and let his OC run things.

Worst part of it was running off almost 20 seconds trying to spike the ball! Just get in formation..ANY formation..and spike it! Geesh!

Maybe Singletary just told Martz that it wasnt his fault and the play calling was good and Martz just decided to blame the ref.

those pants dropping meetings can be very persuasive
