Can you help SMU?
Posted: Thu Nov 20, 2008 9:31 pmLast year this web site helped SMU raise money for the Morgan Campaign. I have been a fundraiser for the SMU Athletic Department for over 10 years. ( I really can not remember when but before Copeland )
Given the fact that I do not make 6 figures I feel a good way to help SMU is to help raise money for the Mustang Club. Sure I give my 1500 a year but I also raise 10 times that amount to help fund SMU athletics.
DO you want to help? CAN you make calls to your family, the alumni you know and friends, to ask them for money? Can you deal with hearing a lot of NO's?
This is an offer to help a school that you love. A way to help out, for those that can not write the BIG check.
