Automatic BCS bowl bids

this is a year that screams for "no automatic bids" as the ACC and Big East don't have a deserving team.

On the other hand, Big XII has 3, SEC has 2-3, Big 10 has 2 and PAC 10 has 2 teams...not to mention that group out there in Utah

I think its absurd Ole Miss is unranked. They are a top 10 team when they show up to play.

How many games as Ole Miss lost?

I would guess less than SMU and more than Alabama

the really sad thing about this year's BCS games is that because Utah finished unbeaten and take a bid along with undeserving ACC & Big East Champs, some of the top teams are going to be left out.

If Oregon State beats Oregon, USC will be left out of what could have been a great Rose Bowl

If Alabama loses to Florida in the SEC title game, they will probably be out (SEC west was weak this year).

My guess is that both OU & Texas will be in BCS games, but Tech won't sniff one (non-conference schedule comes back to bite the Raiders)

If OU loses to OSU, my guess is that Texas plays Florida for the title and Bama gets the "at-large" BCS spot

This system is flawed and is controversial, but it sure has peaked the interest of college football fans. Still lots of possibilities

To be honest, I think the interested has been peaked so we can see who is going to get screwed.

NOT.

USC is praying for Oregon State to win out because USC beating another Big 1011 team does nothing for the following seasons pre-season rankings.

USC wants to kick a Big 12 or SEC team in a BCS Bowl to hype their NC run in 2009!

If I were Alabama I would concern all my thoughts to a sleeping Tiger in Auburn.

The Iron Bowl is no gimme and an Auburn Victory secures Tommy's status!

Likewise FSU would love nothing better than to knock off the arrogant Urban in TALLAHASSEE, Fla!

So the SEC Title game may be just an afterthought!

If OU loses to OSU, and TT and Texas win out, TT wins the tiebreaker based on their head to head victory over TEXAS.

BEWARE THE LEECH!

Understood, but the Trojans could get Utah instead. http://cfn.scout.com/2/814775.html

Wow, you really want to jump the gun today. What's wrong, you can't wait until Dec. 6th?

OK - here are some pretty good looking "projections"

For all of those with a Texas and USC bias...you can play for the Mythical National Championship
