If OSU beats OU then tech goes to the big 12 championship game...

As much as everyone would like to see an 8 (or 12 or even 16) team playoff to determine a TRUE national champion, you've got to admit the current BCS system has people interested and they will remain interested long after the season is done.

I hope OSU does beat OU, but it doesn't change the mess ahead for the Big XII. Yes, Tech would go the the conference championship game, but if they lose to Missou...does Texas then deserve to be in the title game???
Texas, like USC...could be sitting there with 1 loss but without a conference championship.

What about Penn State in that case? They whipped Oregon State (admittedly in State College, PA) while USC couldn't beat the Beavers (admittedly on the road where Penn State & Texas failed to get it done). At least Penn State won the Big 10. As for the argument they didn't have to win a championship game...they beat the best that league had to offer, didn't they? It's not like they "dodged" Ohio State or Wisconsin or Michigan State because of scheduling

Let's see what rivalry week might bring.
