What will the Clemson blogger say since he broke it two weeks ago that Kiffin interviewed with Clemson.

Of course, he was thrown off the trail because of the announcement from the local ESPN affiliate in South Carolina that Clemson's new coach was either going to be Gene Stallings or Gary Patterson.

Does that story even make sense?

Let's see: We're Clemson and we're going to decide on either a 70-something year-old coach who hasnt been in college football since the mid 1990s or a 40-something coach who has been hot?

But what if Kiffin is available on Dec. 2? Hmmmm

AAAARRRRRGGGGGGHHHH!

BTW, I heard Patterso will be coaching Tennessee, Clemson and Washington at the same time next year. Boy, he is a great coach.

So do I ... and I hope he soaks Alice Davis for every nickel that old weirdo has.

By the way, Clemson officials have been to Norman, Oklahoma at least twice, talking to Brent Venables. Doesn't mean there's a job offer pending, but it certainly indicates interest.
