Saturday

Postby Gulfcoast Eagle in Texas » Wed Nov 26, 2008 11:14 am

Hey, Ponyfans. What kind of crowd do you expect to have Saturday? I am bringing 11 for the game. The campus is really nice, and I look forward to a chilly day at University Park. Southern Miss likely picked up a few hundred more Travelers when they destroyed ECU 2 weeks ago. I met a few that said they would travel in if we beat ECU, so there you go.
Cheers, GCE in TX

I wouldn't expect a crowd, if you know what I mean.

Crowd is such a generous term.

This weekend you will get to see the game in style, just like the rich and famous....

You are in for a real treat.
You will get to park pretty much where you want.
You will get to relax on the blvd. pretty much where you want.
You will have the pleasure of sitting pretty much where you want AND
you will have the pleasure of using the seats in front of you to rest your
feet on.

Crowds, where you are going, you don't need to worry about crowds.
VIP's don't wait in line for concessions or to use the John. My friend, you will be living the life of luxury! Enjoy your own private stadium just like the rich and famous do.....

I was there for the UCF game last year and Raplh and i were the only people sitting in the student section. Yes, we were hoping to look at coeds.

No crowd means it'll be easy to get free beers this weekend on the 'vard. Have a few for me.
I'd kill for a Nobel Peace Prize.

After going to U of H in 2006 (Third-world Coogs, as I call them), it will be nice to hang out with some nice folks. The USM Alumni Association is having a Shrimp Boil at the NE Corner of the stadium. Follow the smell of Crab Boil, Bourbon and Old Spice and you will find us.

This weekend presents an excellent opportunity for a visitor to admire the very nice Harvard Red and Yale Blue paint which decorates our stadium seats ...

The stadium will be quite empty. Please do not be alarmed by the yells of "Down in front". They will be coming from across the field but the echo may make them sound as if they are on your side. Feel free to stand whenever you like.

At least our visitors will not be pelted with ice or fear for their life while walking back to their car after the game...unlike my trip to Hattisburg last year...such a garden spot of a place.... 8)

The only crowds this weekend will be at Texas Stadium for high school playoff games.

And the shopping malls. The doorbuster sales could get violent this year.

Hattiesburg......

Postby Gulfcoast Eagle in Texas » Wed Nov 26, 2008 2:43 pm

....is known to be a pretty friendly place on Saturday. I hate that your one & only experience was bad. Our visitors are on the East Side in front of a bunch of people that frankly alternate as Casual Fans. Try it again next time, and I can assure you that it is better. That is, unless, you are wearing a Louisville or Ole Miss hat. If so, you are on your own!
