Southern Methodist is a team that many fantasy owners have followed closely this season. After all, Mustangs Coach June Jones produced many fantasy studs when he was at Hawaii. He has followed that trend this year as wide receivers Aldrick Robinson and Emmanuel Sanders have been immensely valuable to fantasy owners. However, with both players suspended for the last two games of the season, other wide receivers have been called upon to fill in. Cole Beasley is a freshman wide receiver who has had some pretty solid games this season, but has struggled to become a consistent option on a weekly basis. However, with the suspension of the team’s top receivers, Beasley will be an important part of the Mustang offense this week when they take on Southern Mississippi. The Little Elm, Texas native will look to replicate his effort from two weeks ago when he racked up 66 receiving yards and two touchdowns against Memphis.
