I think we'll make a half-hearted attempt at moving the date, and then opt for the buyout.

Careful. The Bobkitties are in the NCAA Div. 1 FCS playoffs.

I'm sure its the standard contractual buyout. Probably $100,000 or so. It should already be in the contract when it was signed-it generally isn't a later negotiable issue.

Sam Houston State had a better record this season than SMU. Bearkats went 4-6 with 1 game cancelled (SHSU v Prairie View A&M) due to Hurricane Ike. Lost to Texas State in OT by a field goal.

The deal is done-SMU and Missouri have cancelled both the 2009 and 2010 games-No buyout. Can you say Aloha.

Didn't I say this was going to happen two weeks ago? Pretty sure I did. rest assured, June has already told Orsini what to do with the open week-I-AA (or FCS team, for all you that are Bobcats fans). Anybody looking at the schedule realisticly could have predicted this.

OK. What the hell? I didn't predict the whole series would be cancelled. What will we do for the 12th game? If we go to Hawaii, what will we do with the 13th?

I predict we play Hawaii AND another Division 1AA team or NTSU.

Then what do we do with the 13th? Little late to be looking for a I-A opponent.

Hawaii would be a much better road trip than Missouri. 8)
