Now that the season is over, what are the Ponies thoughts about June Jones? I'm a strong believer that under certain circumstances a new coach be given three to four years to get a program running provided that the coach maintains a well-rounded team and holds acceptable morals and expectations.
Now that year one is down, what are your thoughts? Can the plane take off?

glad to have him...even though Bennett might have won 2-3 games this season with Willis as QB. He still gives SMU it's best opportunity to return from the dead.

I think he is doing what needs to be done to win. Can't expect much in the first year, given what he had to work with in a team that won 1 game last season. Only time will tell. I won't complain about the hire, and think anyone who does after 1 year is foolish.

Jones will get this wagon going. We have dumped some dead wood and will continue to replace parts that do not work in this new system.
BTW: What a great change in character we have seen in Willis this year. Talk about growing up!!!
In three years I will put a grade on the JJ hire. I just almost know it will be an A. But lets see.
