According to the DMN, that was his last game.

So do we replace him with Gordon Keith or Corby? Or maybe both-could get good ratings with Gordon roaming the stands for live interviews with MILFs. Corby could do his famous lockerroom interviews with players.

I bet it's a non-ticket person. That would interfere with Corby's OU watching schedule.

Probably would be too much dead air time roaming the stands for live interviews.

Gordo would find 'em and would ask the right questions....he's got a talent for that. As for Corby, JJ would not tolerate the overcusser or obvious man

Does anyone know for sure why Swann is leaving?

His third kid is on the way, and he wants to spend more time with family.
How about moving John Hampton from the field, to the booth?

Thank you, Craig.

The reason we all embraced you as an announcer, first and foremost, is because you played so hard and with such passion for the Ponies. You were a great Mustang before you ever set foot into the broadcast booth.

But beyond your "homer calls," you also shared with us your passion for the Ponies, your knowledge and expert opinion based on years on the field. I didn't always translate your East Texas-isms, but loved your calls of the games. You were a PonyFan from your first game to your last, you educated us along the way and you entertained us each time.

Good luck to you, whatever you do. Hope to see you out on the Boulevard.

I agree wholeheartedly. I will miss that passion in the booth next year!

This was the best piece of news coming out of the weekend. I wish him well.

Now, maybe we can't starting having a legitimate broadcast of SMU football.
