Like I said, Texas' political power and behind-the-scenes pressuring of the media is unprecedented. Dodds and Mack get what they want. Every time.

How do they have political power over the media?

I get pressuring the media as every school is doing it but what is the political power?

OK, Rove, let me see ....

Political power. UT's got it. They get what they want - from any and everybody, state legislators, county commissioners, dog-catchers, conference committees, etc.

It came in real handy during the breakup of the SWC.

What, you think there's no politics in big-time sports? Doesn't have to mean Republican/Democrat.

I disagree. UT does it better and more shamelessly than most. Look at Mack's whining last night, compared to Stoops' post-game comments.
