I don't think that there is a single SMU fan not disapointed in this season. As I sat with my father in law last night as the seconds ticked off another season, we mused about another 1 win season, the thought that brought a smile to our faces was, at least I feel better than I did a year ago.

So that is the question I pose to my fellow Mustang faithful, Do you feel better about this team/program today, than you did 1 year ago?

I don't recall the exact date, but hadn't PB already been fired by this point? This board was kept alive by arguments for Johnson, Apple-Bowden, McNutt, etc. We lost countless hours tracking planes across the country, or wearing purple suits outside of Love Field.

We may be coming off another 1 win season, but I feel much better about the direction of this program today than I did 1 year ago.

PB was fired as soon as the possibility of a bowl was eliminated.

last year we had a pretty fun thread going about who the next coach would be...but I still remember thinking we had a sorry football program.
