Bowl Projections

Who is the hell wants to see Texas play Ohio St or Alabama play Utah(assuming Florida and OU in the National Championship). We want to see combinations of the remaining Top teams play each other-like say Texas, Alabama or USC in this scenario. Of course, its too much to ask that truly deserving Texas Tech might play with its exciting offense in a big time bowl like their ranking suggests they deserve. These damn anchor bowls just about insure that the games we want to see will most definitely not be played. Not to mention that the Big East and ACC Champions will bore the hell out of the country-why? Merit?-hard earned success?-No. Because they are part of a monopoly in direct contravention of the opinions of the "experts" who ranked other teams much, much higher. No wonder people are start to ignore these bowls-big yawn. Each and every one of these matchups suck and the TV ratings will prove this point out-these are not the choices America wants to see-which is a typical result of a monopoly.

On this, I think we can all agree. That the BCS blows big time is about the only subject all pony fans will agree on.

How about-matchups according to final rankings-something like oh I don't know:

Florida v. OU
Texas v. USC
Alabama v. Penn St
Texas Tech v. Utah
Ohio St v. Boise St.

Those are the games that America would prefer

Boise would beat Ohio State.

I always heard that if a Conference champ is not in the top 16 then they can be left out of a BCS bowl. So if Cincinnati gets beat by Hawaii next week and drops outa the top 16. And number 25 VT wins the ACC. I think it would be an outrage if one of these teams went over teams like texas tech or boise state

but i guess they would not do that because dont all the teams in the conference get part of the BCS 17 mil payout? Big name ACC schools will get their money no matter how bad the ACC champ is
