From now thru the end of December any DVD or picture purchased on the Heritage Hall website at www.athletichistory.com will receive a 25% discount using the promo code on the last page when you order. The 25% does not apply to the Vintage Football Calendars (they have a 15% discount from the company) or any of the old SWC Highlight DVD's (which are controlled by the Texas Sports Hall of Fame).
Don't forget that you can email me at [email protected] to check on any game not listed or picture not shown.

He bought it from last years sale and put in on Ebay. JTstang went wild with that one.

Wish I had thought of that. One would think a SMU business grad would have dreamed up the idea of buying at a lower rate and selling to a different market at a higher rate. Some would call that entrepreneurship.

And some would call that usurping your fellow mustangs' opportunity to buy something so you can profit from it.

Easy there, JT.
You can still buy it from ebay at the market (i.e. fair and reasonable) rate.

Please explain. I fail to see where paying the price ask by SMU is a problem?

Okay, I'll try but I thought the prior post was pretty clear. If MrMustangWTF buys the last two SMU widgets at Heritage Hall with the intent that he will only keep one and let bidders drive up the price on the other on ebay so he can profit from it, and ponyte was the next in line at Heritage Hall and wanted to buy one of the widgets, then ponyte is screwed by MrMustangWTF's profiteering.
I'd kill for a Nobel Peace Prize.

I don't think MrMustang is a bad guy (except perhaps the exploding ice incidnet), but I disagree with this thing he did.

OK, I see your point. When it comes to limited items (i.e. limited supply of goods and assumes a high demand for those goods), then there is the potential to buy that limited item and then sell it at a profit. There may well be a potential buyer that is left out. One sees this all the time in rare items (such as antiques, art, older cars, antebellum homes and such).
However, where there are products that can have a more infinite supply (such as old game films, photos and such that can be reproduced) then moving those items from limited distribution(Heritage Hall sales) to a more broad distribution (ebay) could actually increase exposure and sales. This is a whole selling model.
So there may well be advantages and disadvantages to the MM1965 model.
However, I still don't see where MM1965 is violating any business principles or business ethics. I don't know if any laws are violated or any legal ethical issues are involved. Of course this would be a violation of medical ethics where the rule is buy very high and sell much lower.
