Yep, and they're going to cry all the way to collecting an $11 million paycheck from their BCS game, while Tech heads to the Cotton Bowl to get whatever its getting.
And under Mack Brown, Texas has posted 8 consecutive 10-win seasons, tied for the second longest streak in NCAA history. He also has a national championship, so it's all good.
Mr. Pony has an acute case of the green monster. Enjoy taking your cheap shots and Texas will continue to enjoy winning a bunch of games.

Leach earned it. Recruiting and winning in a place like Lubbock alone should qualify him. What kind of pitch does Leach use? "Hey, I want you to be a Sand Aggie! What do you say, kid?"

Leach obviously deserved it, but I also will say that this was the best Coaching by a Texas Staff perhaps ever. This was a Texas team with a lot of questionmarks in the offensive skill positions-and not a single dominating superstar. Texas defense under Muschamp improved in a single year about as much as any defense ever has. Colt McCoy's development has been phenomenal. In short, there have been 10+ Texas teams with better front-line talent over the years but this is one of the few that played almost flawless football-for 47 out of 48 halfs of football.
