Sorry guys......while I agree with the sentiment (as I just wrote in the other thread)...........Turner Gill is a third year coach and therefore does have HIS GUYS now.

auburn isn't going to hire a MAC coach.

I think Turner Gil to Syracuse makes more sense.

Everyone keeps saying that, but I doubt he would leave to Syracuse this year. The Big East isn't really that much of a step up from the MAC, IMO! And while it technically would seem that it would be a good place to make a championship run, it isn't really. How many Big East teams have played for the title? Tough rebuilding job, and he has already proven his mettle with that. Why not stay at Buffalo for another year if he doesn't get something big and see what happens next year? (Don't forget this guy was one man away from getting the Nebraska job a year ago, and a lot of people thought he should have gotten it.)

On the other hand, Washington would have made sense, I think. (For Leach too.) Pac-10, Big 10, and Big 12 North are the best places to make championship runs from.

Maybe he will hold out until Rich Rodriguez gets fired from Michigan?????? That would be interesting!
