These are always fun to view. Check out what the Cotton Bowl is offering to their participants. Someone needs to step up in their marketing department.

The Cotton literally has the worst offerings. Poor Tech players. First they get sent to the Cotton Bowl, then they get garbage swag.

At least AT&T could give them free minutes and a cheap phone.

We should get free tickets.
It tastes better when served from a Bowl (game)!

We knew a guy who played for Baylor in the Gotham Bowl. Their bowl gift was shoe shine kits.

You got it wrong, ... poor Tech players. First they have to spend 4 years in Lubbock, then they get sent to the Cotton Bowl and then they get garbage swag....

And we did not get in trouble for it. The NCAA did nothing to us. All we did was have our outgoing AD come on TV and lie about "major violations" and then throw our coach under the bus. We self reported, but I don't even think we self-sanctioned if I recall correctly. So the Burgers and Cheer scandal did not get SMU "in trouble" at all.
I'd kill for a Nobel Peace Prize.

From what I remember... the Cotton bowl gave Custom Boots and belt buckles and great food. Boots were the big deal.

well , that was 1983 or 82.

The Tech players would just be happy if you gave them a sheep.
