Playoffs?

OK...just for grins...let's see what a 16 team playoff would look like if all conference champs and 5 at large teams (seeded using BCS rankings) would look like:
1st round games (at home of higher seed)
#16 Buffalo at #1 Oklahoma
#15 Troy at #2 Forida
#14 ECU at # 3 Texas
#13 V Tech at #4 Bama
#12 Cincy at # 5 USC
#11 TCU at # 6 Utah
#10 Ohio St at # 7 Tex Tech
#9 Boise St at # 8 Penn St
A couple of games of interest, but would probably be well attended because of "home game" reward
2nd round (if seeds hold - games played at bowl sites/determined by bids?)
#1 OU vs #8 OSU
#2 FL vs #7 TTech
#3 TX vs #6 Utah
#4 Bama vs #5 USC
play the remaining 3 games at bowl sites determined by bids
Could some form of bowl system as we know it today co-exist with playoffs?
Got to believe that schools like Georgia, LSU, SC, Okla St, Missou, Nebraska, Oregon, Oregon St, BYU, Clemson, Florida St, et al would travel well and support a regional game to extend their season. Bowls that choose not to enter the bidding wars could host games just like they do now?
Would this be better for CUSA champ than the current situation where we get to "host" and possibly beat the 6th best team in the SEC? Even if it turns CUSA into a "one bid" league?
