As my Grandson Vincent Chase graduates tonight from SMU. I wanted to take some time to say how much I appreciated each and everyone of you. For the last 5/6 years you have stood fast by my Grandsons Bobby and Vincent Chase. Threw the good times and the bad you all stood up for my guys and the Mustangs. I am so grateful for this exciting and sometimes disppointing adventure I have shared with you. I will always be a Ponyfan. It will be a few years before my other 3 Grandsons will be playing College football. Who knows, maybe be SMU Mustangs.
Thank you to each and everyone of you.
I will be dropping in on you guys time to time. It was good to met several of you at the games. God Bless you all and Have a Merry Christmas and Especially have a Happy, Healthy, Wealthy, Peaceful New Year to You and Your families. Mimi

Their future will not be measured by the number of wins they had on the field but rather the character they developed while playing and attending to their studies. I hope my 7 grandchildren (so far) can portray the same type of example that your grandsons have while at SMU. Congratulations to Vincent and thanks to him, and Bobby for their dedication to the team and school.

Stay on the board. We need optimism like yours to keep us going.

Chasing the gold at the end of the rainbow. The contributions (?) of this board pale next to the gift of having your grandsons become and star as Mustangs!

MiMiguys -

Congratulations to you. We've had the pleasure of watching and cheering for your grandsons for the last few years, but you've had the pleasure of knowing them their whole lives. Bobby and Vincent always have represented our school and our team with the highest levels of respect and class, and they have been vital to our team on and off the field. I echo the idea expressed above - if you have any more grandsons, be sure to send them our way - and in the meantime, enjoy Vincent's graduation and have a great holiday.

And stay on PonyFans.com - your thoughts and encouragement here are good for everyone!

Thanks Mimi...your boys are outstanding Mustangs.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

It has been a pleasure watching both your boys play for the Red and Blue. Those two always left everything on the field and their character showed every game. I never had the chance to meet you at the games, but with your posts feel as though we have met. You have made a great contribution to the board, so thanks for joining us. I look forward to you reporting in from time to time.
