All three were very deserving, but, I thought with the massive UT media campaign, the sympathy votes would have put Colt over the top. Congratulations Sooner nation!

Rep. Joe Barton prepares legislation to end the Heisman award as we know it. UT calls for media to "take control" of college football.

From now on the heisman goes to the best Aggie in all of college football?

3 Great players-but only one did what he had to do to win every game-and that's Colt Mccoy.

Although they lost, Colt did lead them back against Tech. I agree with you though, dont feel that bradford had any game where he stepped up and proved anything in a close game and should have been 3rd of the three(please recognize i dont give credit for a 40pt win over tech as it wasnt like the tx/ou game - I am not arguing about the 3 way tie here). He was right there, however, from a pure stats perspective. But so was Graham Harrell
Tebow seems to have missed out because the voters who went with McCoy or Bradford overwhelmingly selected the other B12 guy as #2 and dropped Tebow, who stepped up last week in a huge game against #1 bama, to 3rd.
Notice too the regional divergence of the votes - clearly biased by background.

Barton may be an Aggie, but he's got a Longhorn on his official Web site.

Maybe we just let him award the trophy. 1 vote 1 winner?

And Craig Morton won Super Bowl V. It wasn't his fault O'Brien kicked that FG.

Craig Morton didn't throw a 37 yard 2nd Half TD pass, a 91 yard 2nd Half TD pass and take his team down the field to score the go-ahead TD with 1:30 on the clock overcoming a 20+ deficit on the Road either. And he also didn't hit 78% of his passes and lead his team in rushing. The fact you would compare the two situations shows how prejudiced you are against anything UT.
