I hope some of you got to see ESPN's digitally remastered The Greatest Game Ever Played. I was only 2 months old so I never really knew why Berry was such a great player. Wow he caught pass after pass throughout the game. Seemed like about 12 catches. Now I know why he is in the NFL Hall of Fame.

They don't come any better than Raymond Berry...as a player or a person.

Whether people still remember or not, he totally revolutionized the art of running routes and catching the football. The methods that he conceived, perfected, and implemented as a player became the skills taught by coaches in the decades to follow. The term is thrown around a lot, but he truly was a gamechanger.

He is one of our very greatest.
