Well....At least he got a raise!

He may have gotten the shaft from Bobby Lowder, but at least he got a raise out of the whole mess.

Gill staying at Buffalo. Now "one of the highest paid coaches in the MAC." (no salary specified, but apparently not working for peanuts anymore.)

Coaches in the MAC work for chump change, compared to coaches in the rest of the country. That is why they leave the first chance they get.

Hoke received his second raise in as many years in February. His base salary increased to $240,000, the eighth-highest of 13 head coaches in the MAC. Hoke will receive at least an extra $20,000 in incentives, according to his contract, $5,000 for winning the MAC West Division, $5,000 for participating in the MAC Championship Game and $10,000 for a bowl game.

Auburn would have been nice but lets face it...Gill is waiting for a real big opportunity to come along and i doubt one isnt going to surface in the next 3 years.....he's still young folks!
