What a great article. I am a big fan of Craigs even though he gets bashed on this board. He is a class act.

Hey Craig- I will take our 1981 Lake Highlands team that went 15-0 and smacked Houston Yates for the 5A title over those Stratford Spartans.

That was a big day for SMU too-James picked the "big stage" of the 5A Championship and MVP player to announce that he was going to SMU. He was SMU when SMU wasn't cool. One of the most important commitments in SMU History. Craig James helped make SMU cool-and in the following weeks top recruit after top recruit followed Craig James lead.
