We were going to play Missouri, but they canceled. The conference schedules aren't usually released until closer to the season.

Missouri was on the schedule, but they backed out in the last month or so. So we have an open date. We are trying to find a I-A opponent to fill it.

The 2008 schedule was released sometime in February or March last year, I believe.

Rename them the Chickens instead of the Tigers. Do we have a 1-AA game already? If not, maybe we can play Georgetown U in DC and get them to return the favor with a home basketball game in Dallas.

SMU does not have a 1-AA game scheduled but they do have a Div. 1 FCS game scheduled against Stephen F. Austin State University. ;) (Div. 1-AA no longer exists)

According to my records, next year's conference schedule is as follows:

home: Rice, Tulane, UTEP, E Carolina
away: Houston, Tulsa, Marshall, UAB
