Credit to the great mrydel for mentioning this on another thread

Sept 19, in Pullman, WA - I guess this is a good D-1A opponent to sign...I mean, technically they were as bad as us last year, right?

I still think it's weird that they are playing Notre Dame in San Antonio.

Story reads as if we have to figure something out for 2010. It didn't mention Washington St. coming to Dallas for the return game.

It would be kind of cool to play somebody from the Pac 10. I don't think we've played a Pac 10 opponent since 1998(?) at UCLA in the Rose Bowl, a 17-10 loss -- I believe.

Fantastic chance to play a beatable team from a BCS conference. I only hope that I will be back in Seattle by then so that I can make the trip.

They're probably saying the same thing about us.

Nice! I like this.

Chance for a 2-0 start! Plus, we get Navy at home the week after TCU. Not saying we'll win that one, but we have a better shot at home.....and perhaps have some confidence again if we pull off the win over a Pac-10 team.

3-1 would be really nice........Ok. I might be going a little overboard.

Yeah, we will have a better shot at Navy if their third-string QB isn't running it every play against a hopelessly lost defense.

Yeah, no kidding. At this point I'd be happy with 3 wins next year...anything more than that would be icing on the cake. I think we're at best 2 years from being really competitive - largely due to our D.
