When Texas goes to these games, the Longhorns know how to play in them. Maybe Big Game Bob should look at that.
Edit: Note the change in the headline to accurately reflect the records.

I didn't think Texas was that bad. Beat Ohio State by 3? WOW, that is embarassing.

Bob the BCS CHOKER would be more apt.
His teams are never ready to play BCS games.
They were all talking trash before that BSU game. Overconfident bunch of prima donnas. So proud of their "superior" athletes. Reminds me of Switzer boasting about how Alabama was going to be to much for the Utes on account of their talent level the other night. Switzer made the same comments in regards to OU vs Boise a couple of years ago.
OU is full of themselves.

I'm not a UT fan, but I've always thought Mack was a pretty good coach. I'd like to find the UT fans from a few years ago (pre-NC) that wanted him fired, and ask them what they think now. Idiots. How quickly they forgot that the years before Mack got there, UT was pretty much irrelevant on the national scene.

Mack Brown is one of the good guys in college football. Bob Stoops is a bloated egomaniac with a visor who wets the bed in big games.

D1--Using your theory, what was more embarrassing?
When USC struggled to pull out a 1 touchdown win against Arizona in one of the worst offensive performances I have seen in awhile (excluding the Sun Bowl and all of Auburn's games this year.)
OR when USC lost to Oregon State?
(Remember Oregon State is that Pac-10 team that lost to a WAC team and a MWC team and was only able to score three points on PITT!)

Before anyone touts his brilliance as anything other than a recruiter, maybe Mackey Mouse should get to the big game (without Superman at QB). At least Stooper puts his team in a position to win or lose the big game every year or two. Mack doesn't.
Oh yeah ... waaaaaaaaaaaaah!

Mack Brown is the biggest whiner in America. Will somebody shove a sock in his mouth?

Exactly. So let's discount these records. Just a ridiculous response. Did you ask Bob if his team was prepared to play Boise St. and West Virginia in the Fiesta Bowls? But I guess according to your definition, those Fiesta Bowl Games don't count.
And for the Big Game (which Texas-OU game is), Stoops has 3 of his last 4 to the Longhorns and that includes 45-35 at the Cotton Bowl. His mystique over Texas IS OVER!!

You people are fools. How many conference championships has Texas won under Mack Brown? How many conference championships has Mack Brown won in his coaching career? How many conference championships has OU won under Bob Stoops? Which coach has won more conference championships--Bob Stoops or Mack Brown? Which coach has been a head coach longer? Bob Stoops or Mack Brown? My point? Shut up.

But as you know, big-time college football at programs like Texas and OU is about national championships. Brown has 1. Stoops has 1. Thanks. Also, Brown has three BCS wins. Stoops has two. Thanks.
We can slice this up all we want. People like me who love Mack will defend him to the end. People who hate him like Mr. Pony will trash him at every turn.
And so the world turns.

Mack Brown is greatness....the guy just wins, and he represents the University of Texas very well.

You can slice this any way you want.
- Stoops has gotten his team to twice as many BCS Bowls as Mack Brown has gotten his team to. Stoops is twice as good as Brown!
- Mack Brown is undefeated in BCS games and Stoops has a losing record. Clearly Mack Brown is the better coach- perfect in fact!
- Mack Brown has won 3 of the last 4 Texas OU games. Yet another reason he is better! (Just don't ask me about his record prior to that bc Stoops and OU won 5 in a row and that would make it seem like Stoops may in fact be the better coach!)
All a bunch of crap in my opinion. They are both great coaches. Anyone that tries to discredit one or the other in some way as being not an elite coach is full of it and has an opinion I do not value. Mack Brown and Bob Stoops are two of the very best coaches in college football and if you disagree with that then I have to question your ability to arrive at rational conclusions.
PS I'm happy UT won last night and a little shocked it was so close. I know I, and many others bring this up often, but think how good UT could be if Mack's best friend was someone that actually knew how to run an offense instead of Greg Davis- the most incompetant coordinator in the game.
