Misty's was a good call in Lincoln. Turns out it's right across the street from the Embassy Suites in downtown.
There's another great place where we got some good...um...'work' done in the afternoon, called Brother's. Nice TVs, big bar, nice waitstaff. It's downtown as well.
Lincoln seems like a nicer, bigger, cleaner Lubbock.

No problem. Misty's has been an institution in Lincoln for a long time--although the downtown location is relatively new........I forgot about Brother's. I like that place.
I think there are a lot of people who might take some offense at comparing Lincoln to Lubbock! (But I understand your point--basically a college town without much else terribly exciting going on. It's certainly not Austin or Boulder, by a long shot.)
Glad you had a good time. You should come back some time other than January if you ever get the chance. It is much nicer here when it isn't 10 degrees out! I highly recommend coming to Omaha for College World Series time. (Rosenblatt is being torn down, and they are building a new stadium downtown......so for any baseball fans you only have a few years left to see the CWS where it has been played for the last 60 years.)
