Lucky DeLay lost for the year

The freshman defensive end from Irving will not play at all this year after having surgery to repair a ruptured Achilles tendon. He suffered the injury in practice last Thursday.

Well, I guess that kills my idea of pulling the redshirt off DeLay.
Hope rehab goes well. Achilles tendons are tough.

Bad break (or in this case, bad tear.) I don't know how quick or strong Lucky is, but he's got good size, and I bet he was one of the guys Coach Bennett was thinking of using to boost the pass rush.
