well jtstang my SOONERS choked again in the big game
i wonder if Texas could have done better against Florida?
it seems as if OU doesn't play as well early in the season
then gets a head of steam where they are unstoppable,
then the month layoff before a bowl game just destroys them....
hell they've lost 4 or 5 bowls in a row haven't they?

It's time to revamp the whole system. The idea that a late season win counts for more than an early season win the the BCS standings absolutely kills me. Texas may not have done any better though, given the way they layed down to OSU and barely won. Would have loved to see Utah in that game. They would have been as high as a kite against FLA, can you imagine?

Best game would have been Utah - Southern Cal.

more than the playoffs - they need to fix this "month off" thing. absolutely ridiculous that 2 teams sit around for weeks before finally playing. what does it really mean anyway a month after the season?

30 days of sanctioned practice to improve on what you have.
