FYI...

I am currently sitting in our (SMU's) offensive line coach's office....looking at him in a cowboy hat (covering his freshly shaved head). In addition, he has a rather large piece of Copenhagen locked and loaded with an empty, plastic Coke bottle at his disposal nearby.

He has just reiterated to me...face to face ....eye to eye ... he has not applied for any job in Hawaii and is most definitely staying with SMU and Coach June Jones...Period! End of comment and end of speculation.

Done deal...back to looking at film on next year's recruiting prospects.

i never believed Coach McKnight was leaving anyway

without naming names I think it is no coincidence that suddenly
when we are just about two weeks out from signing day suddenly
all these "rumors" start popping up that our coaches are leaving.

The rumor definitely started in Hawaii. I had some PMs with Garret about another matter and he told me to expect it because it was on a prominent Hawaii radio Station. I didn't post it in fear it might hurt recruiting but then about 3 hours later Warbow posted the same report which by then had hit the Hawaii website.
