Darius Johnson will start by his 3rd game if not earlier. Neither Beasley or Loften are even in the same ballpark as far as talent.

Just wait everyone... The truth will be playing right away. Darius walks onto Ford Field and is instantly in the class of Sanders and Robinson.

Why is he going to walk onto the Lions' field?

Darius Johnson will start the minute he walks on campus. I disagree w/ Stallion's assessment of Cole Loftin. The kid was committed to Utah (those guys seem to have a pretty good eye for talent) and was playing well up until his injury last year. He's going to be a good player for us. If Bo Levi make the improvements in his game we all hope he makes, and we can protect him a little bit with a better run game and a more experienced offensive line, we should be able to put some serious speed on the field.
McNeal, Sanders, Robinson, and Johnson are all top end speed guys and would start for any C-USA school.

I think the only difference you had in your starting line-up compared to the one i posted was the 4th WR being haynes...
we will be in a 3-4 defense....so your prediction on what the actual starters will be is skewed.
Thompson is the perfect DE for the 3-4 Defense..i heard he is up to about 265.

I agree with stallionsmodelT...loftin is legit. If anyone saw him in the TCU game, they know he will be an asset to this team. he is extrmley fluid when he runs, great hands and a little bit of elusivness..

Everyone seems to have Smart starting at DE. How much does he weigh now coming from LB? It don't think he is a automatic.

I heard he weighs around 240...i bet by the time the season starts he could be around 255-260 without compromising too much speed or quickness.
who are our other options for a DE in a 3-4 Defense besides Smart, Thompson and Dizer? Hunt...he has a longggg way to go.
how much does dizer weigh?

I don't know how much Dizer weighs now but I heard the team is really putting some hard work in the weigh room this offseason. Kevin Grenier with that 6-4 frame could easliy be in the mix as well. I imagine he could be in the 270 range pretty easily as well.
