proposed football rule changes

The celebration rule is stupid. Too easy to change the outcome of the game. Too easy to get F'ed by the refs.

Can you imagine streaking down the sideline as time expired on the (fictional BCS) national championship game, doing some celebration on the way there, and having your touchdown called back, changing the outcome of the game?

Are you really going to tell a guy who is 19, stealing a last second victory in the most important game of their lives thus far, in front of millions, that any celebration is preventable and horrible.

there was another one last year where a DT sacked a QB and barely jumped up in the air and got a penalty

Yes I could. I never saw Walker, Rote, Lane etc do it. Coach used to give you a pat on the back and that was it. The pros did not do it because they were paid to perform.
