Charlie Williams, class of 1991. Charlie was an ATO from the Metroplex, and after screwing around in college like the rest of us, he grew up to be a dentist in Highland Park Village.

I'm sure at least a few of this board's readers knew Charlie, and most likely those who did have already heard, but I thought maybe a few hadn't heard and would want to know.

Sorry if this is the wrong board.

I will miss you Chuck.

Anyone who played for the Stangs is a loss in my book.

I attended SMU at the same time...didn't know him personally, but it's a small campus...I knew who he was.

...my condolences to his family and friends.

It's very sobering when a man my age passes away. What hurts the most is leaving behind his 5-year-old and 2-year-old. I've been blessed with my wife and two daughters. I am a very rich man because of them.

Don't tell Obama, it's not too late to include a wife and kid tax in the stimulus bill.

I am blessed having my wife but she works hard to keep me from being rich.

Rich is a state of mind, and body.

If you have time but no money, you can’t do things.
If you have money and no time you get the same result.
If you have some money and time, in my mind you are rich, provided you have a supporting cast around you with your health.

I learned this evening that I shared a table with Charlie at a mutual friends wedding last fall. My friend had always spoke highly of Charlie and I certainly enjoyed a great evening with Charlie and his wife. My heart goes out to his entire family.

God Bless.
