Marshall is ranked in a different way - they aren't ranked with the major schools. It says at the bottom they ranked #43 in the Masters-south rankings. I'm pretty sure that's where schools like Texas State, SFA, and others are ranked as well.

So #43 there probably isn't actually above SMU, Tulane, or Tulsa.
