I remember being introduced to him at the training table shortly after arriving on campus with the French pronounciation for his name. Widest/broadest shoulders on any person I ever met. His intelligence was immediately evident in everything he did. He and Yvonne were like clock work arriving in the library every night and silently studying in the stacks. A person everyone knew was destined for success in what ever he would choose to do. He did not disappoint.
