I was impressed with Coach Jones interview on Dale Hansen.
Hansen always asks June the same questions every time he is on. I loved when he said that SMU will win a championship. I liked his reasoning for not renewing the scholarships for the nine players. He wants players with positive attitudes, and who build team chemistry. [deleted] Dang Sweet Perunatang!
He said "championships" plural. It really still amazes me we were able to lure this guy away from Hawaii. He exudes confidence and you can just see that he knows we are going to get there. So awesome.
Back off Warchild seriously.
June is catching on to Hansons tired schtick, he pointed at that bloated pig and said "I know you don't believe it, but, we're going to win championships". I loved it!
Ah...but good ole Dale had to get his dig in on SMU when he talked about SMU cheating for so many years. Exactly what planet has Dale been on for the last 20 years?
![]() SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.
He has mentioned it, in every frickin' story he has done on SMU for the last 25 years. What an A-hole.
So let's recap:
Dale asked: - One question about a football playoff. - A half a dozen questions about the scholarships. - A question about the alleged (he forgot to use that word) cheating at Florida State ... with the predictable references to what took place more than two decades ago? How did Dale hide his martini long enough to ask seven or eight questions? Does that moron ever cover anything? He stops by Cowboys training camp for an hour or two so he can visit the local golf courses. He never goes to Valley Ranch. He probably wouldn't know where AAC is if he didn't have to do an occasional remote there. Hell, someone probably had to tell him JJ is our coach now. As much as BELOW lays off employees at the DMN, it's hard to believe they don't get rid of this guy. He makes well into six figures, never attends any events and couldn't name a local athlete other than Tony Romo, Dirk Nowitzki, Mike Modano or Michael Young. BELOW is losing a fortune by keeping this idiot on the payroll. He must have some serious blackmail on someone. More importantly, hats off to Coach Jones for handling this ambush the way he did - calm and classy. Dale dug up questions that were answered in the paper weeks ago and Coach Jones deflected them gracefully and steered the conversation back to the fact that we will win championships. WAY TO GO, COACH! Plagiarize!

YES! The difference is that Coach Jones is too classy to go on a smear campaign to make himself feel better. Love your idea, though. Plagiarize!

JJ was well prepared for the released players question as oppossed to last year when then Ralston Dews question came up. Even though Dale got his dig when he said that SMU has a long history of cheating, JJ handle the situation well.

You do realize that the WFAA studios are literally next door to the AAC, right?
Yes, I do  that's exactly the point.
Plagiarize!

I'd kill for a Nobel Peace Prize.
