This is a time for Ponies and Eagles to forget their differences and come together to pray for all who are affected by this terrible tragedy, especially the family of the young man.

I didn't know we had any differences, except that they seem to hate SMU. But, thoughts do go out to the family.

That, and some SMU fans refuse to acknowledge their existence.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers!

The whole Mean Green nation is in shock and cannot
understand how this event happened or why it happened.
Germaine was a good person, involved with Big Brothers
and other organizations. Active in campus programs. He was
very popular around the campus.
Germaine Dawson would have finished his degree program this
May. Germaine was a walk on from Rockdale TX under Darrell
Dickey, that saw alot of playing time either as a starter or in the
position roation, and was a regular player on special teams.
Germaine's funneral will be this Friday in Rockdale, TX.

Police have no clues. There was no robbery, or signs of a struggle, or
forced entry into his SUV. Employee's at a auto collision repair business
noticed Germaine's SUV parked in their parking lot, and called police.
