Like every receiver on the SMU roster, A'Darius Medford was excited last spring about the prospects of playing in the high-powered offense of new head coach June Jones. But a knee injury sidelined Medford for the entire spring and 2008 season, leaving him on the sideline and in the training room as his teammates played their first season in the new system.
After a year of rigorous rehab and playbook studying, Medford is back on the field for spring practice. He visited with PonyFans.com to explain what it was like watching his teammates play, and how he plans to fit into the receiver rotation in 2009.
