Homecoming and Family Weekend dates announced

Postby George S. Patton » Wed Apr 01, 2009 11:12 am

Dear Members of the University Community:

As you know, Homecoming and Family Weekend are among the most popular fall events for SMU alumni, families and our University community. We are excited to announce that the dates for these events have been determined, now that the fall football schedule has been finalized. These events always take on added vitality when timed to coincide with activities on The Boulevard and at Gerald J. Ford Stadium.

The Homecoming 2009 game, against Rice University , and other festivities will take place Saturday, November 7. Family Weekend has been scheduled for November 14, including the traditional family barbecue on The Boulevard before the Mustangs take on UTEP.

Although Family Weekend will occur somewhat later in the semester than is typical, the dates for both Homecoming and Family Weekend are compatible with other planned University activities and should be attractive to the alumni, parents and friends we will welcome to campus.

Please mark these dates on your calendar and look for more information as planning continues.

I dunno. I think I like smupony94's better.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Really nothing. It's just the first 1 1/2 minutes of that trailer has caught me funny for the last couple of weeks. Heck, I may not even go see the movie.

I'm really not up on the characters on Land of the Lost. Never watched it when it came out in the 1970s. I've heard of the sleezestaks but really don't know what they look like. I was going back to clip and guessing the ones on the clip were who you meant.

We're Partying with JoePa in the NIT finals against Baylor!!

Ok, you're just sounding like an idiot. This interview is over.

That was guest, Dr. Rick Marshall. His book comes out tomorrow. You can look for it in the "I'm out of my freaking mind" department.''
