this is the best thing I've read about him...a lot of guys are in track b/c they're freaks physcially but have no instincts
"The main thing is that he has instincts," tackle Kelvin Beachum Jr. said. "That's what football is about, being able to react. It's something that's natural to him. There's really not much to work on – just putting the pads on and learning. He's a fast learner, so that should be easy."

Great article...but everybody should keep in mind that this guy has never so much as taken a hit, or been asked to hit anybody. Being a physical freak, being able to "react," and deft footwork are nothing, without the desire to inflict punishment and pain on people. As we know, not everybody is blessed with this trait. We will find out soon enough!

You can officially put me in the 'wolfblitzer' fan club. Coach's will get him ready. I feel sorry for the 'three little piggies' (Mitchell, Smith, McDermott) if the coachs' turn him loose.
Bowl Time...

"Hunt is a near-national hero in Estonia, a country on the Baltic Sea in northern Europe."
Well, guess they'll be selling SMU gear over there and trying to catch some games on the inet.

on the dmn msg board, someone posted that that's a pretty big exaggeration but that he could become a national hero if he wins at the oly's. definitely, we're a LONG way from knowing if he'll be a player. with his frame, he looks like a prototypical left tackle but you'd really be talking about a big learning curve there

I won't be surprised if ESPN and/or CBS College add some of our games due to the potential demand for international exposure for SMU.

Apparently he already has been interviewed in Estonia to give his expert opinions on football (i.e. how the Cardinals made the Super Bowl, etc.)
