Lingerie football: All-female football league to play games at BankAtlantic Center

Bringing new meaning to full contact, the 10-team Lingerie Football League will kick off this fall with two games at the BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise.

Seven-woman teams will play each other clad in bikini tops, short shorts and helmets, starting with the Miami Caliente and Chicago Bliss on Sept. 4 in Chicago.

Each team will play two games at home and two on the road Ã¢â‚¬â€ all on Friday nights Ã¢â‚¬â€ during the 20-week season. Games at the BankAtlantic Center are set for Nov. 13 and Jan. 22, 2010.

Tickets range from $12 to $85 and are available through Ticketmaster. Merchandise is already for sale at LFLUS.com.
