According to the Cowboys twitter page, they have agreed to terms with Graham Harrell as an undrafted free agent.

So, thats Romo, Kitna, McGee, and Harrell? Is there a reason we need 4?

Conceivably, McGee could play some slot receiver, but he has no experience there whatsoever, he has always been a QB. But he also has a propensity to run headlong into linebackers from the QB position, I cant imagine what kind of trouble he could find as a WR.

This may sound like Aggie bias...and it may be, tbh, but I think Harrell is too slow for what Jerry wants to do in Dallas. That is not to say I don't think he could play somewhere, but it just doesn't seem a good fit for the 'Boys.

This makes more sense than the Cowboys taking McGee and Harrell

What was on display at A&M is not a true reflection of his talent. Fran ran an offense that stifled McGee. The fact that we won any games at all running a high school offense is a testament to McGee's decision making ability, if nothing else. Then he was hurt alot his senior year...may have something to do with the fact that the option offense got him beat up quite a bit.*

His impressive combine performance combined with proven decision making ability made him worth mentioning. Todd Mcshay (sp?) was mentioning him as a sleeper pick a long time before the draft. I think he is worth being a project qb, learning from Romo, Kitna and Garrett.

*- Im not a Fran fan by any means, but the offense we ran was really just to keep the defense off the field...we were one of the worst D's in the nation while running a TOP offense. So I blame Fran for the D, which bled over to a lack-luster offense, which in turn hurt McGee's prospects.

"I'm happy for Stephen McGee," Leach told the Dallas Morning News. "The Dallas Cowboys like him more than his coaches at A&M did."

Leach has been more full of vitriol and bile in the last few days than normal
