Story fails to mention that Navy has to become bowl eligible in order to attend that game.

SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

Hopefully we can start making it tough for them to make it to a bowl each year.

I wasn't really talking about 2013 specifically. I just meant each year that we do play them, since they always have a bowl bid contingent upon eligibility.
