What a night at the SMU "HoF" banquet!

Wow is all one can say...
Fantastic and very genuine, heartfelt speeches given by each of the recipients...Eric Dickerson, Kyle O'Brien-Stevens, Steve Lundquist and the Krebs family. Could not have been a better night. Lots of laughs, applause and adulation for the inductees and SMU.
Well done, SMU, for getting the SMU family together to honor these great members of the SMU family. It reiterates the importance of athletics to a University on local, regional and national levels.

Was media invited in? Talk about some great pub. I don't they had any at last year's event with Don Meredith.

Dickerson was very entertaing - he is a funny guy. His love of SMU was very apparent - which I had always questioned up until Friday night.

To bad the DMN didn't cover this, I would have enjoyed hearing some quotes from one of the best to ever play the game. I usually attend events like this, but was unable to make this one.

I will see if i can get a link posted on here. It was recorded and may be posted on the school`s website. The stories that were told were classic and need to be shared with all SMU supporters. Great event!
