Dean to transfer

Aundre Dean, a freshman tailback at UCLA has filed his paperwork with the NCAA to transfer. Dean is from Katy, Texas and was a high school teammate of Bo Levi Mitchell. Was considered one of the top RBs in the nation his senior year in high school. Four Star prospect who had offers from pretty much everywhere. UCLA brought in 3 RBs last year and he was pretty lost on the depth chart.

This sounds like a recruiting job for "The Gunslinger".
Does anyone know whether Bo and Dean were friends in high school?
Also, are there any Katy Tigers who regularly post on here? I would think some of them would keep up with their hometown boy, and this is the best place to keep abreast of news that is all things Bo.

Darn. I saw 'Dean' and thought you were talking about the new dean of Dedman College. That would be a good transfer.

If he played early at Katy, McDermott might be able to help recruit him, too.

With our luck, he'll end up at Rice or Houston!
It's funny how these recruiting practices work out. You get the VIP treatment to a school, they make you seem like a God, so you fall for it, accept the scholarship, then bam! You get there and find out they did it to other guys as well.

Heck, Neuhisal went to Katy and personally recruited him...
