Retired TV producer Bob Goodrich cherishes gridiron roots

Buzz up!By Brice Cherry Tribune-Herald staff writer

For a guy who’s attended everything from the Super Bowl to the Indianapolis 500 to the Olympics, Bob Goodrich still appreciates high school athletics.

In fact, some of Goodrich’s fondest memories hearken back to his time playing split end for the Woodrow Wilson High School Wildcats in Dallas in the early 1960s.

And he can’t wait to relive some of those memories today, when he’s inducted along with seven other men into the Texas High School Football Hall of Fame.
