Aron Franklin Gets Silver in 3A 110 Meters at State Meet

Jagared Davis apparently scratched with a false start. Franklin's time was 14.29 which was .08 seconds behind the winner Phillip Jones from West Orange Stark. Franklin will get another shot later today in the 300 Meter Hurdles

Franklin finished 4th in the 300 Meter Hurdles
with a time of 38.87. Freddie Tatum won with a time of 38,44

BTW SMU recruit Der'rikk Thompson of Troup-the cousin of Keylon Kincade finished 7th in the 2A 200 Meter run as only a Junior with a time of 22.28

here's a video of Franklin at the state meet in the 110 Meter Hurdles-he broke fast but said he hit more hurdles than usual-you can tell he had a pretty rough run-one particularly bad step at about the 80 Meter mark probably cost him the race-still finished second
